Super Bowl Observations

  1. NBC must have had trouble selling air time for the commercials - they did a lot of advertising for their own shows
  2. There were a number of commercials that were for the sale of discounted merchandise or merchandise sellers.
  3. The Boss was amped - he knocked down a camera operator.
  4. Jobs searching services were prevalent.
  5. Free stuff given away by merchants was mentioned a couple of times.
  6. Ways to escape from reality - alcohol and amusement parks - were popular
  7. It looked like the caps were made generically so that they could stick either teams logo on it at the last minute so as to not have wasted the resources printing two sets of winning paraphernalia.
