No Grey, Tan, or Other Drab Colors

Recently I was thinking about the long, cold, sun-deprived winters we get. While I enjoy them for their beneficial snow falls (an associated skiing activities), I don't enjoy the depressive mood these conditions help to create. So I had this thought as I was pulling up to a stop sign looking up on a hill dotted with houses painted in grey, tan, and other drab colors. The city should create incentives for people to paint their houses in cheerful, bright colors. Wouldn't this be an amazing way to stimulate the feelings of people in the city, create jobs for out of work painters, and business for local hardware stores. And when this time of year rolls around next winter, instead of looking out at a hillside of dull, boring, dreary houses, there will be bright colors giving the proverbial finger to the dull grey sky.

Ok, so I haven't been on a bike in a while and my mind is beginning to wander...
